Environmental protection and sustainability of our operations is a constant concern for Navarro SiC. We continually work to minimize the values on emission and inmission of noise, dust and pollutants, effluents and waste generation. Our goal is to be the benchmark in our environment.
The integrated environmental authorizations obtained in 2008 for our production plants in Mansilla and Vadillos constitute the reference documents for compliance with environmental requirements. In line with the requirements of European regulations, our facilities use the best available techniques (BAT) for emission control, as reflected in the document Reference Document on Best Available Techniques for the Manufacture of Large Volume Inorganic Chemicals - Solids and Others industry published by the European Commission in August 2007.
